Media or TV experience not necessary; you may have come from Wall Street, web analytics, or even straight out of college. The main experience required is handling multiple projects at once and making sure deadlines are met. We are a small, close-knit team – you must be excited about working in a start up environment with other smart and motivated players.
SIMULMEDIA is a New York City-based media marketing company dedicated to improving the effectiveness of program promotion on television. This fast-paced start up is pioneering the development of predictive technology using a variety of data sources to help television companies deliver the right on-air promotions to the right viewers at the right time.
The ATTENTION ANALYST will be responsible for all research needed and requested by product management, data strategy, operations, and our clients. We need someone that has the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities under tight timeframes in an unstructured environment. In addition to obtaining raw data sets from various systems, the Research Coordinator must be able to interpret and present the data, creating presentations for internal and external consumption.
The ideal candidate should be proficient with all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Access) and be able to learn new applications/systems quickly. Furthermore, he/she should be comfortable giving presentations and be able to clearly explain results to clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze, cleanse, and interpret set-top box data using Excel, Access, and other database programs.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and analyses for clients, internal studies, and potential blog postings.
- Manage program classification efforts.
- Manage client contact data in customer relations database as well as business opportunity information.
Skills/Abilities
