We are seeking an exceptional lead for our West Coast sales efforts, to identify, qualify and close Simulmedia-enabled advertising sales opportunities in the entertainment category. The successful candidate will have the ability to strengthen Simulmedia’s position as the leading targeted television advertising network in both the tune-in and other entertainment categories, and to introduce new, industry-transforming media products while working within the traditional TV ad buying and selling landscape.
Primary Responsibilities
- Must have excellent writing skills
- Sell Simulmedia’s audience-targeted media to advertisers and their agencies in the entertainment category, meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets;
- Identify (and present the benefits of Simulmedia’s media offerings to) key, senior client and agency stakeholders;
- Position Simulmedia’s data driven inventory as a must buy for all tune-in and other entertainment advertising campaigns;
- Own revenue targets across all entertainment-related advertising categories;
- Regularly contact, prospect for and develop new business accounts;
- Communicate with sales management regularly on activities
- Attend relevant trade conferences.
Key Requirements
- 7-10+ years’ experience in buying or selling TV (and preferably, digital) advertising
- Established relationships with or experience in dealing with large national agencies and advertisers
- Overall knowledge of existing and advanced TV advertising landscape, including planning and buying activities
- Self-motivated, outgoing, organized, efficient, team player and a strategic thinker
- Prepare and present proposals/RFP’s to be presented to clients/agencies
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel
