NEW YORK (Apr 20, 2010) The Industry Achievement awards—the only awards of its kind in the industry—honor individuals in the digital marketing industry who have demonstrated consistent outstanding service, generated breakthrough ideas and fostered industry growth through unwavering support.
This year’s honorees are individuals who consistently combine professional success with an ongoing personal commitment to making our industry a better place to do business. The award is a testament to their vision and to the wide-ranging application and impact of their ideas.
Awards were presented at ad:tech San Francisco on April 20 and 21.
Known as the consummate entrepreneur, Morgan is the architect behind a number of esteemed companies.
He was the founder of both TACODA, Inc., an advertising agency that changed the landscape of behavioral marketing, and Real Media, Inc., one of the original ad networks. Morgan also recently served as executive vice president of global advertising strategy at AOL. His latest project is Simulmedia.
Simulmedia, Inc. is a New York City-based marketing company that drives incremental viewership to television programs through data-driven program promotion. We build applications that use set-top box and other data to address the growing audience fragmentation problem for television networks and simultaneously help viewers discover shows they might enjoy.
Morgan’s roots are embedded in law and journalism. He earned his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State, and initiated more than a dozen media ventures with the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association in the early 90s.
