Dominic Schmitt is an e-Commerce and new media product manager with over twenty five years experience developing interactive retail and advertising solutions for Verifone, TENNIS.com, ABC News, the NBA, Barnes & Noble, Churchill Downs, Golf Magazine, the Sporting News, and other media and retail properties.
He currently serves as Director of Partner Programs for Linq3, which transforms gas pumps into lottery terminals and delivers lottery numbers and winner notifications to mobile phones. Play at the Pump was recognized with a Retail Choice Award as Cool New Product in 2014.
While at Verifone, he led the development of a digital taxi top for New York City and Las Vegas, and created an ad operations and inventory management system for Verifone’s taxi and gas station media programs.
Prior to VeriFone, Dominic led business development for ad tech startup firm Adtuitive, culminating in the sale of the company to Etsy, the world’s largest marketplace of handmade and vintage goods.
The first hire as part of its original development team, Dominic helped pioneer behavioral ad targeting for TACODA, which was later acquired by AOL in 2007 for $275 million.
Dominic is a graduate of St. Louis University and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
