Simulmedia, the pioneer of data-driven, audience-based television advertising, today announced the appointment of Justin Nesci as Chief Commercial Officer. Nesci, a seasoned media executive with a deep pedigree in cross-platform sales and digital transformation, joins Simulmedia from iHeartMedia, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Advanced Audio and Data Revenue.

Reporting directly to Founder and CEO Dave Morgan, Nesci will oversee Simulmedia’s full commercial engine, including global sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategy. His appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the industry, as the traditional silos between "linear" and "streaming" dissolve into a single, converged high-impact medium.

“For eighteen years, Simulmedia has been the vanguard of TV’s evolution, proving that television can—and should—perform with the precision and accountability of digital,” said Dave Morgan. “Justin is a rare leader who possesses the raw intelligence, wisdom and deep industry relationships required to navigate this complexity. He’s a builder, a strategist, and a world-class coach who understands that the future of TV belongs to those who can deliver measurable business outcomes across every screen. We are thrilled to have him lead our commercial team into this next era of growth.”

Nesci arrives at Simulmedia with an extensive track record of scaling enterprise sales organizations. At iHeartMedia, he was instrumental in driving the company’s data-led revenue initiatives, bridging the gap between traditional broadcast and modern digital measurement. Prior to iHeart, Nesci held leadership roles at Viacom (now Paramount) and Fox Interactive Media, where he consistently led teams in translating sophisticated technology and data insights into compelling value propositions for CMOs and analytically-driven marketing teams.

In his new role, Nesci will partner closely with Simulmedia’s CFO and Chief Product & Technology Officer to ensure the company’s revenue strategy remains tightly integrated with its proprietary, patented data science platform. He will be tasked with expanding strategic relationships with the world’s most sophisticated brands—including Disney, Electrolux, Experian, and Wayfair—while mentoring a hungry, high-performance sales force in the company’s New York City headquarters.

“The industry is at a breaking point where advertisers are demanding more than just ‘reach’—they demand certainty, efficiency, and speed,” said Justin Nesci. “Simulmedia is the only company that has spent nearly two decades building the actual system of record for outcome-driven TV. I’ve watched Dave and his team lead the category from afar, and I’m incredibly energized to join a company that isn't just reacting to the convergence of streaming and linear, but is actively defining how it works for the world's biggest brands.”

Nesci’s appointment reinforces Simulmedia’s commitment to a "client-directed" enterprise sales model. As the company continues to scale its software platform to enable brands to plan, activate, and optimize audiences across streaming, connected TV, cable, and broadcast, Nesci’s expertise in data-driven storytelling will be critical to the company’s mission of making TV perform like a modern, results-driven marketing channel.
