Juliette Dupré

Juliette Dupré is VP, People & Culture at Simulmedia. She has 15 years of experience in human resources and organization development in the technology and digital entertainment industries. Juliette was previously the Head of People for esports organization Andbox and, prior to that, for video game publisher Tilting Point Media. She currently serves as strategic advisor for game development consulting group Tiny Hydra.

Originally a litigation paralegal in product liability and employment law, Juliette began her career at the McGlinchey Stafford law firm in 2004, where she later became the Director of Legal Recruiting. She moved into games and entertainment in 2011 by joining mobile games developer and publisher Gameloft as Lead Recruiter. She also helped build and grow teams as the Senior Talent Manager for food tech startup Plated (acquired by Albertson's) and Global HRBP for short-form video entertainment app TikTok (under ByteDance). 

Juliette graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor’s degree (cum laude top of class) in Social Science and Paralegal Studies in 2007. She also earned a Master of Science in Organizational Change Management 2020 while on merit scholarship. Juliette lives in Manhattan where she loves to game, study martial arts, read about leadership and management, and watch movies and TV.

The skill I have that might surprise people: I meditate daily. I'm also a former classical ballet dancer and maintain my certified teacher status with American Ballet Theatre. These days. I spend most of my time training in Hong Kong-style wing tsun kung fu at City Wing Tsun.

Favorite hobbies: I had to stop collecting Lego sets, Magic: The Gathering cards, and comics because New York apartments are tiny! Now my scant spare time is all about video games, movies and TV.

Greatest personal accomplishment: A paper on leadership that I wrote passed peer review for journal publication. Separately, I also passed an intense sparring and knowledge test for wing tsun. I got hit in the face, but I passed!
