Phil Sandler is the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Growth at Simulmedia. He is an omni-channel marketer having spent the most recent half of his career building and leading integrated marketing departments in B2B and B2C environments with a heavy emphasis on performance marketing and measuring the incremental lift resulting from digital and traditional channels working together.
Prior to joining Simulmedia, Phil built the digital marketing arm of HomeServeUSA and then led the performance marketing teams at both Shutterstock and Gartner, Inc., while also overseeing branding, product marketing, CRM, and conversion rate optimization. He spent the first half of his career on Madison Avenue, building his digital DNA at agencies including Ogivly on the global IBM account, and then helping build and then lead the interactive arm of Wunderman/Y&R Brands, helping Fortune 500 clients American Express, Chevron, Citibank, Kraft, Microsoft, and Pfizer, among others, integrate their marketing efforts. He received his B.S. in Economics, Management, and Marketing from Cornell University, and then continued his marketing education in NYU’s Direct Marketing Diploma Program focusing on database marketing, creative, and media strategies. He lives in Westchester County with his wife and two children.

Where I volunteer: I volunteer at 13 Hands Equine Rescue which saves horses destined for slaughter and rehabilitates them for use in Equine Therapy for veterans, as well as serve as a horse leader at Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship, empowering individuals with specials needs through equine-assisted therapy.
The skill I have that might surprise people: I learned to play the drums during the pandemic (I’m horrible).
Favorite hobbies: I make my own wine, hot sauce, and beef jerky, and am always looking for the next thing to throw on the grill, in the smoker, or dehydrator. I also try to get to Orange Theory Fitness a few times a week.
Greatest personal accomplishment: Raising two great kids, and turning into a bit of a runner (about 30 half marathons so far).
