Wendell Wenjen is VP and General Manager of the SimulX unit at Simulmedia. In that role, he is responsible for developing solutions to enable digital marketers to use television effectively and driving market adoption. Previously, Wendell was VP, Business Development at Simulmedia and director of Smart TV Advertising and Interactive TV platforms for LG Electronics where he launched the industry’s first advertising and interactive TV platforms for Smart TV. Earlier, Wendell had 15 years of leadership marketing and business development roles in the computer industry where he developed and launched new products and services at Intel, Flextronics and Acer. Wendell’s appreciation for big data comes from his first job developing air traffic control systems for Hughes Aircraft. He holds an MBA in marketing from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and Bachelor’s and Masters’ degrees in electrical engineering from Harvey Mudd College. Wendell lives in the Bay Area and is based in Simulmedia’s San Francisco office.
